Cinema Wasteland is one of my favorite conventions ever! It's like a giant party with a dealers room. Where else can you drink and play hula hoop with your favorite Horror film actors?

I have been working at this show for 4 years and hope to keep going each time. They usually hold it the first weekend in October and the first weekend in April, give or take a day or so depending on the calendar. Some staples of this convention are the Evil Dead Museum showcasing artworks and props made by the talented Tom Sullivan, Film screenings all weekend, discussion panels, a wide variety of actors ,directors , and lots of really cool shit to buy. If you like weird films that most people have never heard of like locally made or other indie goodies you can find it here.  A great place to also promote your art and network with other people into the same stuff. I'm usually there helping out Carl Merritt and now also helping RAK films.
